The oil provides lubrication for hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders and other components while helping support protection against wear, oxidation and corrosion. Its relatively higher viscosity compared with ISO VG 32 and ISO VG 46 makes it appropriate for systems specifically designed to operate with ISO VG 68 fluids.
